Adnan Sarwar and director Tom Cross follow the trail of migrants dicing with death as they attempt to cross the frozen Alpine peaks between Italy and France.
Braving altitudes of up to 2,500 metres and temperatures as low as minus 20, many have died in their attempt to seek safety, having been denied asylum in Italy or threatened with deportation back to the countries from which they fled.
