Ade Adepitan and director Eric McFarland travel to Tanzania where 400 women died in witch-hunts in 2016, double the rate of the year before. Their deaths often involve strangulation, stabbing or being burned to death.
Filming with investigators, survivors and witch doctors the team investigate this sudden spike in brutal violence towards women, and uncover how relatives are manipulating old beliefs to steal money and land from older women.
