In this uplifting episode, Ade Adepitan meets medics in Malawi who perform 15-minute operations that allow blind people to see.

It’s not often you see lives transformed in fifteen minutes, but that’s what Ade and director Joyce Trozzo witness. They film with medics working in the desperately poor African country of Malawi. Against daunting odds, the medics manage to organise and perform fifteen minute operations which allow blind people to see. Some are elderly people who’ve lost their sight, some are teenage children who’ve never seen before. The transformation in their lives is deeply moving.
