Indonesia's Wildlife Warriors

In the final episode of the current series, correspondent Aidan Hartley and director Rodrigo Vasquez go to Indonesia, to look at the work being done by young activists to try to save the country's endangered species. Borneo is one of the one world's great rainforest habitats, but three football pitches of forest is destroyed every hour to make palm oil. What's more, there is a booming trade in orang-utans, which, together with other rare animals such as sea turtles, are captured for pets or killed for use in medicine. Hartley shows that as well as poachers and unscrupulous businesses, the environmentalists come up against corrupt officials and public indifference.
