Among the million plus refugees in Germany are tens of thousands who've fled Middle Eastern countries where being gay can get you killed. Reporter Shaunagh Connaire and director Rebecca Kenny spend time with three such refugees (one of them a former Iraqi pop star).
They discover gay refugees in the refugee camps and shelters of Berlin and Cologne are facing violent attacks and abuse from fellow refugees and migrants. The hatred and dangers they faced in the Middle East have pursued them to Germany.
