Correspondent Aidan Hartley and producer Ed Braman travel to the jungles of the Democratic Republic of Congo, where a former rebel soldier called Henri Ladyi is running a campaign to get child soldiers released by anti-government forces.
Many have been recruited forcibly, while others have run away from home,\ lured by the promise of food. The next challenge is to find children \like ten year old Justin secure homes so that they don't return to their\ murderous childhood.
\
\'heart-wrenching …the bravery of reporter Aidan Hartley and camera crew \as they advance into the jungle surrounded by the watchful eyes of \guerrillas armed with poison-tipped arrows, is staggering.'
\ - The Guardian\
\
\'It is a courageous film, because there was no guarantee that the camera\ crew would not be held hostage or killed….in a scene straight out of \Lord of the Flies, camouflaged children armed with bows and \poison-tipped arrows emerge from the undergrowth.'
\ - The Times\
